All our devices have an IPX5 or IPX7 water resistant rating, excluding the Precision Trimmer.
We have designed our trimmers to be gentle for all skin types; we recommend consulting a doctor before using any of our devices. Never use a LUMISKIN™ device on areas with open wounds, inflamed, chapped or swollen skin and other skin conditions on the area of use. Discontinue use if skin irritation or other abnormality occurs and consult a doctor.

We’re sorry to hear there’s a problem with your LUMISKIN™ device. Faulty or damaged products can be returned to the retailer they were purchased from with a valid proof of purchase.
It is possible the device has run out of charge. Turn off the device and charge or change the batteries according to instructions within the manual. These are available to download in PDF format on the relevant product page.
There may be debris stuck in between the blades, turn off the device and clean according to instructions within the manual. If it still doesn’t work, ensure that all attachments are installed correctly, turn the device off and install the attachments correctly according to instructions within the manual. These are available to download in PDF format on the relevant product page.
Rotate the battery cover to align with the “On” indicator. For more instructions, refer to the instruction manual & warranty card for all device instructions. These are available to download in PDF format on the relevant product page.
There could be three reasons as to why this is happening:
- The outlet isn’t working, check the outlet to make sure it’s working by plugging in another appliance.
- The device isn’t properly connected to the recharging transformer. Ensure that the device is properly connected to the recharging transformer, all the connections are secure and the switch on the device is turned OFF.
- The device is constantly connected to the charger on a master power switch. If your electricity is connected to a master power switch, we suggest the device be disconnected from the charger anytime the master switch is off. Leaving the device plugged into a dead outlet or an unplugged charger will drain the battery.
The attachment you choose will be dependent on the area you want to trim. There are three different attachments to choose from: the Body Shaver with dual bi-directional blades for a fast and smooth full body shave, the Precision Bikini Trimmer for gentle and detailed grooming, and the Circular Foil Shaver with stainless-steel blades for a closer, faster and safer facial hair removal.
The shaver head/blade was not installed correctly, turn off the device and install the shaver head/blade correctly according to instructions.
